Sing To A Troubled Heart

Do you have a troubled heart?

Sing, sing to God,  sing about His goodness, sing to yourself, or sing to someone with a troubled heart.  When we take off a garment in cold weather it neutralizes the effectiveness of the garment.  When we add baking soda and vinegar together it neutralizes the acidity of the vinegar.  When we sing it neutralizes the troubled heart.   I think one of the greatest accounts of this is when David played the harp and sang to Saul.

Who cares whether you have a good voice or not.  When you have trouble sing a Psalm (song).  Put that troubled heart to rest.  Bring out the fullness of joy that is in God's presence.

In Chronicles we read about how Jehoshaphat sent out the singers and praisers before he sent out the army.  When we see that from our natural eyes, we think that's stupid or that it does not make sense.  That's right, it is non-sense and we have to look at it from our spirit being not our senses. They showed up on the scene and all three armies they were facing were dead.  So much plunder that it took them days to collect it all.

Get your sing on.  Get your praise on.  Get what is yours.  So much that it takes you days to gather it all.

In Jesus Name
Amen

Vision and the Master Plan

The mandate from Jesus is to make disciples. We are to teach them to observe all that is commanded.  I love the end of Matthew 28:19-20 I am with you always, even to the end of the age.

This is part of the vision of the church, which leads to us having the right vision.  My pastor talks about how there is a difference from sight and vision.  I see it as our sight is what we physically see.  Our Vision is a mix of our dreams, goals, and the know will of God.
The purpose of sight is to verify the vision.  When we walk by faith we are not walking by sight but by a spirit lead vision.  What vision do you have and what vision does your pastor and local body of Christ have.  Don't let the vision you have separate you from the Body of Christ.  Grasp a hold of your pastor's vision for the church.  Become a helper not a divider.

Di: means two-fold Division: two visions
Become part of the Vision not the the Division.  Division creates separation.  The bible tells us that the Devil is like a prowling lion.  What do lions do?  They seek out the weak, young, and the animals that separate themselves.  Keep your self in the body.  Do not stay on the milk of the Word but become mature and eat of the meat of the Word.  The prowling lion will not have an easy target when you are connected to the vision.

Strategic planning is the key for vision. Strategy is a master plan for how the vision is implamented. God is a master planner.  When God gives you His Word you still need a plan.  The Word may not be the plan but the will of God.  A major down fall to our visions is the lack of planning.  We get a vision and run with it but when we have no plan there are many things to get in the way.  When difficulty and trials come we fall of because it becomes a burden.  When we create a plan on how to get to the finish we have goals and milestones we know we have to reach.  Look at every thing we do as a building to be built.  You first get the vision of how it is to look.  Then you have an architect draw up the design.  Next comes the contractor to give cost estimates and plan the execution phase.  Last the building gets built.  Look at our lives the same way.  We need a blueprint of our lives.  If your asking where to start?  Look to God who when we ask for wisdom gives it to us liberally without rebuke.  God has a plan for us that is for our good, not to harm us. Jeremiah 29:11

Ask for the strategy.  Let the vision get bigger than what you are now.  Think big.  Great am I because of he who is in me.

In Jesus Name
Amen

Wisdoms On The Streets: Believe That You Receive

Wisdoms On The Streets: Believe That You Receive: We must believe that we have what ever we ask for. If we just believe in the promise of God's Word we get overtaken by the thoughts of doub...

What Is Faith?

Faith is what pleases God.  Yes, God himself says in the bible that by us having faith in Him and His Word, He is pleased with us (Hebrews 11:1-12).  Faith is confidence in God’s Word, and how can we have faith in God’s Word, when we do not know what God’s Word says?  In Joshua 1:8 God tells Joshua, this book shall not depart from your mouth, and to meditate on it day and night. (Now most people think of meditation as sitting Indian style and saying uhmmm uhmm.  That is not what meditation means in the Hebrew text.  It means to murmur or mumble to ones self.)  We are to speak God’s Word to our self day and night, and then we will have a prosperous life and success (Joshua 1:8).  When we get the Word and then know that the Word is inside of us, and then this is what faith will become.  Faith is an outward expression of an inward confidence in God and His Word.  2 Corinthians 5:7 to walk by faith not by sight.  So we should speak those things that are not as though they were.  Do not look at the natural world that your eyes see, but look at the promises God has given to you through your faith filled spirit man eyes.  Look into the bible.  God created this world off of His faith not by His sight.  He spoke words of life to this universe and created it.  By the natural sight it was formless and void, but by spiritual sight and faith the world was not void it was good.  Abraham did the same thing.  He did not look at having a baby at 99 with his natural limited eyes.  He believed in God’s Promise, and had the child that was promised to him.  It is so easy to look at any situation and put limits on ourselves.   We have to stop doing that and build up our faith.  Look at the promises of God and trust in, rely on, and have faith in Our Lord Jesus Christ and God our Father.  The last thing is we must build up our faith, and how do we do that?  Well Romans 10:17 says Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of Christ.  It is not what we have heard.  It comes by hearing right now, and what we are continually hearing that builds up our faith.  It is a very dangerous thing to get into that habit of just saying I know that, and I have heard that before.  Because that will block you from doing what the scripture says we need to be doing. (The word Christ was originally translated in the King James Version as God, but in the Greek text you will see that it does say Christ in Romans 10:17.  That is why you will see Christ in the New American Standard and Amplified Bibles and an inaccurate translation of God in the King James Version.)

Here are some other scriptures that talk about faith:
Matthew 17:20, 21:21
Mark 4:40, 11:22
Romans 1:17, 4:9, 5:1, 10:17
1 Corinthians 2:5
Hebrews 11:1-12

We Must Act

Acting on Faith

Faith is our thing hoped for.  How does that thing come to pass if we are not doing anything to get what we hope for?  We must act on faith.  Faith is some thing you do, not something you think. First you hope for the thing then you act on God’s Word to make it come to pass.  By faith all things came to be.  Matthew 7:24 says“Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock.”  We need to learn how to act on what God is telling us to do.  God’s word tells us to be fruitful, not that some could be fruitful, but that all of us should be fruitful.  So then, we speak it into our lives and we live that thing out.  Lets say God tells you to start a business, then you get His Word and then you act on it. Like in Psalms 1:3 He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither; and in whatever he does, he prospers.  If God has you starting a business then that is where you should be planted.  Then he tells you that in what ever you do, you will prosper.  Hoping for the business is not faith it is the beginning of faith.  Acting on it is faith.  How would you act on it?  You start the business.  This goes for everything in your life.  We must be doers of the Word.  Prayer and meditation is the beginning of hearing from God.  God will give you all the answers.  He is not the god of confusion or disorder, because that would be the devil (1 Corinthians 14:33). God gives us the wisdom we need to never fail in life (James 1:5-8).

Here are some other scriptures that talk about acting on faith:
Matthew 7:24
Luke 6:47

Believe That You Receive

We must believe that we have what ever we ask for.  If we just believe in the promise of God's Word we get overtaken by the thoughts of doubt.  We need to trust (believe) in the Word and then when we pray it, know that we have it and posses it right then and there.  No we don't have it physically right there, but faith is the substance of things hope for, the evidence of things not seen.  Give thanks to God for what you receive and do not doubt.   Stand on your prayer of petition which is based on the Word of God.  Do not stop giving thanks and praising God for it.  That shows Satan that we are standing on the Word and we are rooted like a tree planted by the waters (Jer 17:8).  We are founded on the rock not the sand.  Show Satan that he is defeated.  Stand on the Word with your thanks and praise, and do not move.  Believe that you receive.
In Jesus Name
